The Sunshine Teashop - Jaimie Admans (Review)

I finished The Sunshine Teashop last night, with my eyes swollen and a full heart. This book gave me everything: love, drama, fun, cozy moments, and found family. The way I laughed and cried…that’s just the way the best stories make you feel.
I thought it was a very original plot and I really loved the characters (except for Jared, whom I hated with all my guts). Dolly and Reece are both lovely, and I loved how their connection kept on growing and developing. The secondary characters are interesting, too, and I loved the whole community thing. I really connected with Dolly and her love for baking, and how it makes her feel.
There are, of course, some twists in the story, and while many of them are predictable, isn’t that the reason why we love reading romance books so much?
TST felt like a warm hug; it’s a book about dreams and second chances, about finding joy and keeping on going. The ending was perfect, and it left me with such a joyful feeling, the one you get when you just finished a remarkable story that will stay with you. I have read and loved many books by Jaimie Admans, but this one might just be my favorite.
Run, don’t walk, and order this book!

I received a DRC of this book via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
