Stranger Things Have Happened - Kasie West (Review)

I love Kasie West’s books, and I’ve read a big bunch of them. However, this is the first adult romance I've read by her, and I’ve got to say…. I loved it!
Sutton was such a complex character, in a good way, of course, and I felt really connected to her, especially with some of her worries and struggles. Eli was amazing. Villain Pretty Boy was such a fun and interesting character, but also great and thoughtful. I loved that, and I loved their banter and chemistry.
The book felt fresh and fun, and I could picture the rom-com movie in my head, like with all the romance books I read and love. It was also well-structured; the characters felt alive, and I liked that it doesn’t focus only on the romantic part but also on themes of family and friendship, among others.
Overall, I deeply enjoyed it, and I cannot wait to read another of her romance books (of all her books, really). I haven’t read her other one, but I’m sure I’ll be in for a treat.
