The Last Page was the perfect rom-com story. It has everything I liked in a book: books and booklovers, a bookshop, NYC, witty characters, banter, and great chemistry.
I loved Ella and her personality, and it is so nice to find Latina characters. Henry was really sweet, too, and even the secondary characters were interesting, a wide variety of personalities among the booksellers.
I appreciated how it focuses on family, biological, or found ones. And also, on giving love a chance.
The recommendations from the booksellers were hilarious, and the final part was chef’s kiss.
I really enjoyed it and would definitely read more books by Katie Holt.
