The Night Bus is the perfect romance book to enjoy over a weekend, with a glass of wine or a nice cup of tea. What I liked the most about it was the characters. Daisy and Tom were amazing, complex characters, and I loved watching them interact. I also loved Clara and Martha.
At first, I was worried that they already had partners (kind of), but it was never about cheating or love triangles. The story had fun, lighthearted moments that balanced the more serious ones or topics such as grief and toxic relationships. The only thing I did not love was the approach the toxic relationship had in the end; it felt as if it was a bit rushed and like that part was dismissed. However, overall, it was a nice read.
