My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I haven't read The Kiss Quotient, but I heard great things about it and when I got the chance to read The Bride test I really wanted to give it an opportunity. And I wasn't wrong.
We have Khai and Esme, he doesn't want a relationship, but he gets Esme, a fiancée. Esme has her little girl but wishes to give her a better life, therefore she must try to become Khai's wife. Two very different people, two hearts that might just possibly belong together.
The Bride Test was a great, compelling read. It is a sweet story, full of feelings and with unique characters. I have to say Esme was not exactly my favorite because it was sometimes very hard to understand her, especially at the beginning but she kind of grew on me. On the other hand, Khai...I really liked him, he was sweet and very cute and he had these very intense feelings. I liked the way the author portrayed the autism part and I' glad to see stories where it is included. I also enjoyed reading both of the POV's and I think it added a lot to the story.
Overall, I think it was a really nice story, perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea. There where some things that didn't make sense to me and I understand they were part of the story but I found them silly and didn't like them like all the silly misunderstandings happening, but I get that it is part of the story, I just think I expected more. But I did like the book and now I definitely have to read TKQ.
