The Romance Revival - Christina Lauren (Review)

Reading a book by Christina Lauren is always a joy. This time, they gave us something different but with the same quality of their work.
In this book, we get to know Emery, whose job is quite important and secret. Not even her husband, Luca, knows what she really does for a living. When Luca is in danger, she doesn’t hesitate and does everything in her power to save his life.
This is a story about second chances, about love and friendship and the importance of communication. Emery is such a fun character, and I loved getting to know her. She’s also a complex character, and I loved how Christina Lauren captured that complexity. Luca is lovely too, and I loved their interactions. The secondary characters, such as Annie, Crash, or even Honey, were amazing too.
My favorite romance books are the ones that are not only about the romantic part of a relationship but everything in between, and TRR was just that. It has drama, action, spice, and so much more. I don’t think there was a part I didn’t like about it. I deeply enjoyed reading it, and I loved this new take on a rom-com.
Thanks to the publisher for an DRC of the book in exchange for an honest review.
