My rating: 5 of 5 stars
It has been some time now since I entered a reading YA crisis, I have recently been having problems to find YA books that I really liked.
I got this book thanks to a swap and buried it in the bottom of my tbr for quite some time. But, when I saw that the movie was coming I made it one of my goals to finally read it.
I have read Everything, everything and I liked it, but I didn't fully love it. Reading The Sun is Also a Star was a very pleasant surprise.
I was hooked from the first pages and loved the different POV's, loved the MC and enjoyed all the beautiful quotes I highlighted.
That is always one of my favorite things in a book, beautiful thoughts, phrases that I can connect with, words that make me think and make me feel. I found all of that in this book.
It was a lovely story, with a real ending and yet a really nice one. I haven't been able to see the movie and, in a way, I don't want to because I am not sure that it will be as good as the book.
